It seems like the more productive I'm being, the less attention the blog gets. I'm able to share a bit of what I've been busy with, finally!
If you're in or around the Brantford Ontario area, come check out the Brantford Arts Block on October 9th for the opening of a group show entitled "Deck The Walls", which runs through November 1st. The exhibition will consist of art on and about skateboards. I'll be showing 4 portraits, all of which are oils painted on skate decks. I'll also be painting a 6x12ft installation prior to the show. For the opening they'll be showing a time lapse video of the painting of the installation.
Here's a preview of one of the decks. I'll try my best to share some nice photos of the whole series, once the show has opened.

Needless to say I'm pretty excited about this. I really hope I'm able to set aside more time for fine arts in the future - I feel like gallery work is a natural progression from what I've been doing lately. Hope to see some friendly faces at the show!

Here are a few photos from the opening. The three portraits were painted in 2007, and the skull (Olivia) was painted this past September. They're all oil on skate decks. The rest of the pieces were contributed by other artists - the whole collection was really solid. It was great to get the chance to contribute to what feels like the beginning of a contemporary art scene in my home town. Big thanks to Josh and Ashley at the Brantford Arts Block for making this show happen, and offering me the opportunity to get involved.

The skull deck (pardon me, the portrait f Olivia) is STELLAR! That little heart is totally perfect. Love it.
Some time ago, I really needed to buy a good car for my corporation but I didn't earn enough money and could not purchase anything. Thank heaven my mate proposed to take the home loans from reliable creditors. Thence, I did that and used to be satisfied with my financial loan.
